Does anyone have any info on Deutz-Allis Compact Tractors? My tractor is a 1991 Deutz-Allis Model 5230 with a 435 Loader. I think the engine was made by Mitsubitshi, but maybe the whole tractor was made by Mitsubitshi for Deutz-Allis. Can anyone shed any light on this? Also I was wondering about the history of Allis. When I was a kid I remember seeing Allis-Chambers tractors, now I own a Deutz-Allis tractor, but it seems like Allis dropped Deutz and has become a part of AGCO. Can anyone set the record straight on the history of Allis. Thanks.
